NeverRepeataJoke App live-streams never-before-heard jokes. For both audiences/fans & comedians, it won’t be too long before comedy folks use my app to live stream an entire live comedy show or event. There have been various desktop platforms including failed methods on Periscope & Meerkat to live-stream shows in the past.
The ease of this live streaming technology opens doors for comedians / comediennes / comics. Any audience member can rise up & take to the stand at any given time. There’s no being able to tell them to do it later in order to prevent the Internet from seeing undeveloped material or an uncharacteristic subpar performance or, perhaps, risking it all before 200 Chicagoans.
While that could capture great moments that wouldn’t exist again like the audience customarily hurl insults at me “Muslim,” “Go to your cave Bin Laden,” “I have a trunk full of baby clothes,” or “I use Arab blood for gasoline”. Items are thrown at me seen here:
So many words have been written about how comedy needs to cross lines of taste & decency in order to poke fun.
Whence comics commence, we walk the plank like pirates do to the captured. It’s an all-encompassing feat. So many zings upon zingers are flung at open mics – a flint to ire those online at-the-ready with torches & pitchforks for any Off Color Tasteless connotation.
For technology to improve our lives, we must choose it for the purpose of saving time, so that can we be a product of our environment. “Never Repeating a Joke” is the new fad.
Household names finna Never Repeat a Joke into festivals three ways across the globe. Certainly, we comedians on stage have more energy when we see a red dots on [camera] phones since we think it is the light, & that the curtains will roll shut from both sides.
